How garment remodelling gives clothing a second life
Garment remodelling starts with a close review of the piece itself. We look at the fabric, construction, seam allowances, wear, and the fit goals before any quote is confirmed. That approach helps set realistic expectations and keeps the redesign aligned with what the garment can actually support.
Our work often begins with a redesign consultation, followed by a written scope and concept approval. Depending on the project, we may reshape dresses and skirts, restyle shirts and jackets, update the fit of vintage garments, or reuse fabric for accessories and smaller details.
Inspection-led redesigns, clear scope, and careful finishing
Alteration Artistry turns worn, outdated, or sentimental pieces into garments that work better for the way you wear them now.
Upcycling is especially useful when a garment still has strong material but no longer suits the current fit or style. Instead of starting from scratch, we reuse the best parts of the original piece and adapt the design around the fabric that is available. If extra materials are needed, they are reviewed and quoted separately.
Every project is handled with care for the original garment and with clear communication throughout. Additional work is only carried out after approval, and collection includes a final fit or finish review. Care and pressing notes are also provided so the finished piece is easier to maintain.
