Remodelling Garments with Care
Every project begins with a careful inspection of the garment, its construction, and the available fabric. That first review helps define what can be altered, what can be reused, and where the design may need to adapt to the material on hand.
For remodelling work, the process moves from consultation to concept approval, then to the workshop stage. This keeps the scope clear and gives you a written understanding of the requested changes before work begins.
Clear assessment before any quote
How Alteration Artistry approaches redesign, alteration, and upcycling projects in Javea.
The workshop handles dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. When suitable, original thread and trim are matched where available, and any extra materials are quoted separately.
A finished piece is checked again at collection so the final fit or finish can be reviewed carefully. Small final adjustments may be handled at that stage without changing the agreed design, as long as the garment allows it.
